Our Eye Care Philosophy
Our approach to children’s eye care and myopia management focuses on protecting children’s vision for the future. Each child’s eyes are unique, so our treatment plans are entirely tailored to your child and can evolve depending on their needs.
Myopia control is all about prevention. The earlier we can detect and begin managing myopia progression, the more we can prevent future eye health concerns and maintain their vision.
Once changes to their vision or eye growth occur, we cannot reverse them. However, by focusing on early detection and intervention, we can reduce myopia progression for better outcomes and lower prescriptions in adulthood.
Insurance and Payment Information
In Ontario, OHIP covers the cost of an annual eye exam for children and youth 19 years old and younger. We also direct bill to all major insurance plans for extended vision benefits.
For any payments beyond insurance coverage, we accept VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, cash, debit, and e-transfer.

Ortho-K Contact Lenses
Ortho-k lenses are worn overnight, gently reshaping the curve of your cornea so you can see clearly throughout the day without lenses.
Soft Multifocal Contact Lenses
Soft multifocal contact lenses provide multiple prescriptions or powers that help to correct nearsightedness and slow myopia progression.
Myopia Management Spectacle Lenses
Specially-designed myopia management glasses provide peripheral defocus that reduce eye elongation and the worsening of myopia.
Low-Dose Atropine Eye Drops
Low-dose atropine eye drops are administered at night, helping to slow myopia progression. They are often paired with another treatment method.
